tell us about your avatar
hello everyone
im curious about everyones different avatars..
what do they mean to you, what does it represent or why did you choose it?
i use to have the girl in a bag like a fish, the story behind that was that everyone had control over me but i had none over myself. i was a fish swimming around in waters being stared at but not helped.
my new avatar is a frangipenni, its a painted one. i chose this one becasue i want to be a new 'me' and what better way to start with a painted nature picture, 2 of my favourite things in one.

My avatar is the main character, Umaru-chan from the anime 'Himouto! Umaru-chan'. She's bubbly and nerdy and I relate to her so much! It makes me happy when I see my avatar 🙂

My Avatar is a scaled version of this little guy 🙂
I saw him in The Reject Shop with a doll, and he was just so cute! SO naturally I bought him and he's sat on my desk for such a long time now. I wanted something fun and that was actually mine as I feel so open and connected to this community so naturally I felt it had to be part of me. So I photographed him and uploaded him 🙂

The background is actually some fabric with sparkly stars! It came out that way because of my camera and the bokeh effect - which is the blur produced by out of focus light; which makes the circle look. Usually you need a low f-stop to get the background, but it can be produced with higher f-stops, it means it either won't be as strong, like the circle won't be as big or stand out as much. I took this on my DSLR camera with my 50mm compact macro lens with an f-stop of 2.5.

Mine is a photo of my cat Paprika or Rikki as he mostly goes by, chilling on my bed as he often does 🙂 I adopted him as a 6 month old from my local cat shelter and as soon as I saw his profile online I knew he was mine, I've had him for 4 years and he is my baby 🙂 He is a bit of scaredy cat but is bonded to me and whenever I travel he get's out of sorts, I am going away in 1.5 weeks for a week (I've not left him for more than 3 nights I know he will hate me) and my family is joking that we will need Skype sessions as he won't cope! To make matters worse I return home for 6 nights and then go away for 4 nights (technically 3 but I have a redeye flight so it's closer to 4) so he won't be happy!
Mine is a violin, because I have played it for the most time out of all my instruments. Ever since year 3, I've been playing it. I was better than everyone, even the year 7's when they still went to primary school.
When I become old enough to be a builder, I'll make it one of my drawings. I think I'll make a special one just for it! 😄

I recently changed my avatar from the default one for the first time, which is exciting! 🙂 It has a wolf because they're my favourite animal and it's got the moon and tree branches because honestly, it's just so aesthetically awesome! 😛 I changed it because my default icon was a parrot and was a bit suss imo 
definitely up to something...
My avatar is of Molang and Piu Piu.
There is no real special meaning other than that I have some plushies of Molang and Piu Piu. They are so soft and some of my favourite stuffed animals. I admit to falling asleep on them a few times. 
I have watched some of the show and I think it's really cute.

@Tiny_leaf I love the gifs too! The characters are so expressive.
Since I was a kid, I have always loved collecting plushies and stuffed animals. A lot of them are characters and have names.
Of course, I like collecting squishies too!
Seeing as I changed my avatar, I thought I might talk about it! (because any chance to talk about my one true love, Ninjago, is a chance not worth passing up)
