It's just over 48 hours until we start our fun Getting Real session about all of our favourite TV shows and movies!
It's just a super chill chance to have a chat about the shows we love...

The characters and heroes we admire...
and the movies that we've watched literally dozens of times and can't wait to convince everyone else to see 
What's really epic about this one is that it gives everyone the chance to get to know a bit about everyone else 😄 It's amazing what you can learn about people from the things they love 
That's pretty rad imo!

Firstly - ahhhhhhhhhh I am about to watch episode 3 of game of thrones new season. I have been waiting all day. I am so freaking excited it's not funny!
Second - I am a Harry potter maniac fan. I have read all the books and seen all the movies. My favourite character is Luna Lovegood, Severus Snape and Neville.
Third - I would totally recommend Once Upon a Time and Regina is my favourite character. I'm quite sad because I still haven't got around to seeing the last season but I recently got the dvds so I'll be watching that very soon.
I love Stranger Things as well even though it scares the jeepers out of me. And i remember watching mortified as a kid and I loved it! I also loved The Worst Witch, The Paralax and Blue Water High! So many awesome shows.
I saw the new Avengers movie!! It was brilliant. I can't wait for you to see it if you haven't already.
A movie I like to watch that brings me up is Legally Blonde .....ain't nothing stopping Elle Woods! She is so dedicated and nothing stands in her way.
I've never seen any Marvel movie 
, but I imagine the experience of seeing something you waited for a long time with fellow fans would be an awesome experience. I remember when I went to the midnight showings of he first three Hunger Games movies and that really motivated me/ made me feel good.
My brother recently binged every single Marvel movie so he could watch Endgame with his friends hahah

Which TV show/movie world would you most like to live in and why?
THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER WITHOUT A DOUBT (I'm still waiting for my acceptance letter to Hogwarts even though I'm too old to attend haha)

I would really love to live in any historical or period show. I feel like I was meant to have been born in the past. Sometimes I find modern life exhausting. I also love history and learning about how people in the past lived.

Originals/Vampire Diaries please. The show makes it look so realistic in what that world would be like instead of just being some teen vampire thing and I think it would be awesome if supernatural things like that existed and none of us humans had a clue. Imagine being able to do those things too 😄
@WheresMySquishy that's so true, I do actually think about what that would be like, especially when I think just when I was a kid which was not long ago at all we used to play outside for fun and now it's all games and technology for little kids, it's crazy how much the world changes in just a short amount of time!

What is your favourite TV show and movie of all time?
My favourite movie would have to be either the prisoner of azkaban or the perks of being a wallflower.. i think, my favourite tv show would be Shadowhunters, even though i'm not up to date yet. Super worth watching! Especially if you're looking for LGBT representation and good characters (just have to wade through the absolute cheese of the first couple of episodes 😉 )

If you could recommend a TV show for someone to binge watch, what would it be?
Probably Degrassi, when I was younger especially i used to binge watch it every exam season (funny how that happens :P)
Who is your favourite TV show/movie character? / Is there a character you really identify with?
I think a lot of the draw of Degrassi is that the characters are pretty real to the lived experience of teens, so everyone has at least a couple of characters who they can really relate to (really love Eli, Fiona, and Miles)
What TV shows/movies always do a great job of cheering you up or giving you that motivational boost?
@mspaceK Legally Blonde!!! YES YES! that movie is such a motivator, i think i've seen it at least 2 dozen times!! The montage scene where she starts kicking butt at law school is sooo good!

I wish we had more powerful women portrayed in tv and film WITHOUT falling in love. Like love is great and all, but i wish they allowed women to be more independent and for their character development to not be centred around falling in love, often with men.
And if they are going to fall in love, it would be great to see more diverse sexuality portrayed.
