Today I'm Grateful For..
Last year I kept a diary everyday of the year. At the end of each entry, I would write down one thing I was grateful for that day. Looking back at it makes me appreciate a lot of things that I often forget about.
So, today I am grateful for my guinea pig Toffee - who unfortunately passed away yesterday aged 6. I got to spend an amazing 5 and a half years together with her. Thanks, Tof!

We also did a Weekly Well-being activity on creating a gratitude wall here some time ago! Hopefully, you'd enjoy checking both of these threads out (if you haven't done so already)!
Anyway, today I'm grateful for the day off so I can kick up my feet and relax for a moment before I go back to studying for my upcoming quizzes for uni this week *sighs*. However, I'm also especially grateful to live a life surrounded by people I love 🙂
I'm grateful for my sibling, who taught me that I should love myself for who I am. I was scared about questioning my sexuality but they taught me that I am perfect in every shape and way and without them. I would be completely lost.

Today I am grateful for the delicious dinner I had at a really nice Italian restaurant, and the delicious kürtősh we bought for dessert. The warm smell of cinnamon really uplifted my mood!
Today, I am grateful that we got to try something new with one of the family members I care for, even if it didn't work out. Now, we have a better idea of what supports they need right now.
@statuscaring it's awesome to see you spreading the word about gratitude. It can be hard for anyone to focus on this topic when the world seems to be moving faster than us. Thank you for this and reminding me to do so as well :).

I am grateful for the amount of sport I got to do today! I had to "analyse energy transfers" in Dogeball and Red Rover, seeing as we finished our unit. Then I had humanities, but I missed most of it due to photos needed to be taken. Then I had HPE after morning tea, and then after lunch, I had gym. I feel so much less stressed and upset after that. I love exercise, even if I did start feeling unwell at the end of the day.
Heheh... I may have ranted on a bit, but today has been pretty good!

You are 100% correct - spending time thinking about what you're grateful for improves mental well-being. I read a study that said even the act of trying to find something to be grateful about is good for your brain!
Today I am grateful to have a super warm gas heater to stand in front of on cold mornings!
I am so grateful for headspace because they taught me about my anxiety and depression and that it is okay to not be okay. They have given me help when I most needed it and have looked after me like a parent would. I don't know where I would be today without them.

Today I am grateful for getting to enjoy the beautiful sunshine on my day off.
I'm grateful for all the help my parents have given me and my sister with moving into our new apartment. I am also grateful for our new apartment.
Today I'm grateful for sunshine. I never realise how much I need sunlight until it's been grey and horrible for a few days. Today I opened up the doors to the house and let the warm air just drift through the house. It was a super mindful, joyous experience.
Today I'm grateful for The Rosie Effect - one of the funniest books I've ever read 🙂
